The Delhi High Court on Monday agreed to hear Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Kumar Vishwas' plea against a lower court order to file an FIR against him over an alleged molestation charges by an AAP volunteer.
The matter will be taken up for hearing tomorrow.
Earlier in the day, Vishwas approached the High Court against the order of the lower court.
A Metropolitan Magistrate's court had last week ordered the police to register an FIR against the AAP leader based on the woman's complaint.
The Delhi Police had earlier in its status report filed before the court said that nothing was found to substantiate the allegations levelled by the AAP volunteer against Vishwas.
According to reports, the complainant had stated that Vishwas had made sexually coloured remarks and made advances towards her. She also alleged that the accused had molested her in different cities during the 2014 Lok Sabha elections campaign and then a few months later.
