Mukherjee inaugurates renovated shopping complex in Rashtrapati Bhavan(Update)

President Pranab Mukherjee inaugurated a renovated shopping complex in the Rashtrapati Bhavan today.

The shopping complex includes Shakti Haat (an outlet where Self Help Groups (SHGs) of Rashtrapati Bhavan will market their products like homemade masalas, organic compost and handmade envelopes), a 'Safal' Outlet, Kendriya Bhandar, Tailor (both ladies and gents), Gents Hair Saloon and Beauty Saloon for ladies.

This Kendriya Bhandar retail store at President's Estate is the 94th outlet in Delhi and first in the President's Estate.

Inauguration of the shopping complex today has made available in the vicinity the daily necessities of life to the residents in the President's Estate.

Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit and Minister of State in the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions and Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office V. Narayanasamy were among the dignitaries present on the occasion.
