A massive fire broke out in scrap godowns in Mumbai's Kurla in early morning hours on Thursday. No causalities were reported.
Around 10 fire tenders were used to douse the flames.
"Last night massive fire broke out in Rakaiya Estate. Initially the fire was caught in five to six godowns which gradually turned into the devastating one. Around 10 fire brigade vehicles managed to douse the fire. The cause for of the incident is yet to be ascertained by the Mumbai police. However it can also be due to short-circuit," additional fire officer, Harish Shetty said.
