The North Korean regime has reportedly executed an official using a flamethrower.

The move is part of another attack on officials believed to be loyal to Kim Jong-un's uncle, Jang Song-tank, who was killed by a pack of starving dogs.

According to telegraph.com.au, the cruel method of execution was reported by South Korean press, which claimed the official was an ally of Jang.

The paper said the shocking punishment was handed down after the official helped Jang turn the ministry into a personal security division to help safeguard his business interests, the report added.
