World number one Rafael Nadal and Swiss champion Stanislas Wawrinka have breezed into the fourth round of the Sony Open in their bid to seek their first Miami titles.
The Spaniard crushed Uzbekistan's Denis Istomin 6-1 6-0 within just 59 minutes to book his place in the last 16 and will next meet Italy's Fabio Fognini , who beat Spain's Roberto Bautista Agut 4-6 6-3 6-3.
According to the BBC, Australian Open champion Wawrinka beat Frenchman Edouard Roger-Vasselin 7-5 6-4 and he will now meet Ukraine's Alexander Dolgopolov, who was a 3-6 6-0 7-6 (7-5) winner over Serbian Dusan Lajovic, in the last 16.
The report mentioned that Wawrinka's result matches his best effort in six visits to Miami, adding that Canadian 12th seed Milos Raonic also blasted his way into the fourth round with a 6-1 6-2 win over Spain's Guillermo Garcia-Lopez in 56 minutes.
Meanwhile, defending women's champion Serena Williams booked her quarter-final spot with a 6-3 6-1 win over fellow American Coco Vandeweghe while Russian fourth seed Maria Sharapova prevailed against Kirsten Flipkens 3-6 6-4 6-1 to reach the last eight.
