Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday hit back at Prime Minister Narendra Modi for alleging that the TDP chief was busy promoting the rise of his son and asked if people were aware that the Prime Minister has a wife.
Addressing a gathering here, he said, "He spoke of my son. He called me father of Lokesh. I must tell you I am proud of him. But, do you know he has a wife whom he has left? You did not even divorce Jashodaben. I am saying all this because you spoke about my personal matters. Otherwise, I would not have raised it as I have manners."
The TDP president said he loved his family and respected it.
He even wore a black shirt in protest against the Prime Minister's visit to the state.
Attacking Modi, he said, "Your policies have collapsed the country's economic system. Demonetisation and GST have been a failure."
During a rally in Guntur on Sunday, the Prime Minister had alleged that while Naidu had promised sunrise for Andhra Pradesh, he was busy in facilitating the rise of his son Nara Lokesh.
