Nair excited to be part of national squad

Indian cricketer Karun Nair has said that he feels excited to be a part of the national squad for the third Test against Sri Lanka, which starts from August 28.

"I am really excited to be a part of this team and I am looking forward to every opportunity I get.. I am enjoying every bit of it, "Nair told the media here.

The 23-year-old also lauded Indian legend Rahul Dravid for giving him lot of confidence and pushing him in the right direction.

"I think he has been a great influence for me and he has given me a lot of confidence on my bating and he just keeps pushing me in the right way," he said

"He has a lot of positive words for me and he hasn't changed too much of my technique. He hasn't got into my technique. He is just been giving the right confidence that a young player needs," he added.

India had earlier leveled the series 1-1 by claiming 278-run win over Sri Lanka in the second Test at P.Sara Oval.
