Top-ranked Novak Djokovic and Serena Williams have been announced as the top seeds for the US Open, which starts from Monday in New York.
Roger Federer, the five-time US Open champion, is seeded second, while Andy Murray is seeded third, the Guardian reported.
Meanwhile, 14-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal and defending US Open champion Marin Cilic are placed eighth and ninth respectively.
Serena will head into the Flushing Meadows trying to complete the first calendar-year Grand Slam in 27 years.
