Australian off-spinner Nathan Lyon has expressed that he is keen to reunite with spin legend Muttiah Muralitharan for more bowling advice when his side travel to Sri Lanka for a three-match Test series in July.
Muralitharan, who holds the record for taking most number of Test and ODI wickets, had previously worked with the Australia's premier spinner as a bowling consultant for a short period in 2014.
Lyon said he was looking forward to implement some of Murali's earlier suggestions on bowling in subcontinent conditions, adding that an opportunity to have a training session alongside him would help him stand in good stead before the start of the series, Sport24 reported.
Lyon, meanwhile, needs just five more wickets to become the first Australian off-spinner to claim 200 Test victims.
