Nawazuddin Siddiqui's 'Manjhi - The Mountain Man' seems to have left a huge impact on the Bihar Government as Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has made the upcoming movie tax free in the state.
Tabloid media revealed the CM announced the news to waive off the tax from the film on August 17.
Directed by Ketan Mehta, the film is based on the life of Dashrath Manjhi, a poor labourer, who cut through a mountain using only hammer and chisel to pave a road in memory of his wife who passed away without medical treatment as travel to the nearest hospital took a lot of time due to the mountain.
The film that also stars Radhika Apte will hit the theaters on August 21.
