New Zealand defeated West Indies in the third Test in Barbados to clinch a 2-1 series victory.
West Indies lost the third and final Test of the series by 53 runs.
According to the BBC, New Zealand captain Brendon McCullum declared on their overnight 331-7 to set West Indies a target of 308 runs to win.
However, New Zealand's Tim Southee, Trent Boult and Mark Craig claimed nine wickets among themselves as the bowled out West Indies at 254 with 13 overs still left.
New Zealand's series victory was only their second against the West Indies and it came after home series defeat by the same opponents and India.
New Zealand had won the first Test in Jamaica by 186 runs before West Indies levelled the series in Trinidad with a 10-wicket victory, the report added.
