After a low-key wedding in Jalandhar, newlyweds Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath hosted a star-studded grand reception here on Monday.
The party was packed with some of the A-list celebrities from the entertainment industry, who were personally welcomed by the bride and the groom themselves.
A treat for sour eyes, the couple looked stunning as they posed for the paparazzi in front of a wall decorated with flowers which had their initials 'gk'. Dressed in a heavy sequins lehenga, Ginni looked every bit of a royal bride. She completed the look with chooda (red bangles). Her groom, Kapil, on the other hand, looked dapper in a black attire.
Also in attendance were one of Bollywood's most adorable couples, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. While the 'Tamasha' star looked graceful in a pink saree, her husband Ranveer looked handsome in a suit.
Bringing all the bling to the party, Karan Johar arrived at the venue with Kartik Aaryan. Looking dapper as ever, Vicky Kaushal also attended the event.
The evergreen Rekha looked graceful like always in her signature Kanjivaram saree.
The reception was also graced by Anil Kapoor, veteran actors Jeetendra and Dharmendra, who even posed together for the media. Sohail Khan arrived with father Salim Khan.
Fellow comedians including Johnny Lever, Krushna Abhishek, who came with his wife Kashmera Shah and kids, Sumona Chakravarti and Chunky Pandey, also came to bless the couple.
From the music world, Udit Narayan, Guru Randhawa, and Neeti Mohan attended the reception.
Kapil and Ginni got hitched in an Anand Karaj ceremony held in Jalandhar, Punjab on December 12.
2018 can be officially called the year of weddings. From Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, to Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, to Saina Nehwal and Parupalli Kashyap to now Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath, it has been one crazy wedding season.
The new year is going to be even more special for the famous comedian as soon after the wedding celebrations get over, Kapil is all set to make a comeback on the small screen with a show titled 'The Kapil Sharma Show'.
