News Corp has reportedly acquired India-based financial planning service startup BigDecisions.com.
According to Tech Crunch, the service is designed to be a one-stop-shop that uses data and algorithms to help consumers in India make better financial decisions.
Robert Thomson, chief executive of News Corp, said that its latest investment builds on the company's abiding belief that a digital India needs more trusted, reliable and independent data.
Thomson added that BigDecisions.com will help Indians make the most important decisions by using accurate information tailored to their personal needs.
The company refrained from disclosing any details of the deal.
