Nicole Scherzinger has quit the X Factor as she plans to focus on recording her new album.
The 35-year-old American singer-songwriter has reportedly told Simon Cowell that she wants to focus on recording her first new material since 2011's 'Killer Love', the Mirror reported.
Sources revealed that she is sad not to be able to go back to the show this year and has agonized over the decision for months.
The 'Poison' singer's decision to quit has come just days after the 54-year-old X Factor supremo announced his return to the show.
