Nigella Lawson's former aide has claimed that the celebrity chef allowed her children to smoke cannabis.

Elisabetta Grillo, who is accused of fraudulently spending 685,000 pounds on credit cards belonging to her former husband Charles Saatchi, also claimed that she was allowed to buy cigarettes for her boss' kids, Sky News reported.

Grillo made the claims while she was being questioned about her transaction of almost 70 pounds at a duty free shop in New York.

The former assistant had previously accused Lawson, Saatchi and members of her camp of lying in court.
