Nine-year-old boy beaten severely over trivial issue in Bangladesh
A nine-year-old boy has been beaten severely by some people over a trivial matter in Bangladesh's Kamalnagar upazila of Laxmipur.
According to the Daily Star, the victim, named Shipon, is a student of Class one in a local primary school and is currently being treated at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
Locals said that some people beat up the boy for defecating on the bank of a pond at the village on July 27.
The boy was hit with a brick on his head. The victim's uncle filed a case against four people at the police station.
