Sri Lanka condoles loss of lives in Myanmar floods, hopes for quick recovery

The Sri Lankan Government has condoled the loss of lives in the devastating floods that took place in Myanmar, hoping for a quick recovery of the nation.
According to the Colombo Page web site, the Sri Lankan Foreign ministry has issued a statement iterating "solidarity and support" to the Myanmar Government "at this time of grief".
The widespread floods, triggered last week due to heavy rains, have left 81 dead, the Myanmar's Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement reported.
