Manchester United boss David Moyes has admitted that the club would not be making any new signings during the January transfer window despite their lacklustre start to the season
Moyes, who has endured a nightmare initiation to his Old Trafford -reign with his side stuttering to their worst -top-flight start in 51 years by missing out on a string of top targets and over-paying for midfield flop Marouane Fellaini, also said that he could not guarantee Wayne Rooney staying if they do not finish in the top four.
According to the Mirror, Moyes has confirmed the fans' worst fears by mentioning that United will soldier on until the end of the season without reinforcements, even though bookies make them odds on not to qualify for the Champions League.
That is disturbing news for United fans who believe either Moyes thinks the current squad is strong enough - or there is no January transfer kitty at Old Trafford, the report added.
