A New Zealand woman is facing criminal charges after she delivered a baby with an 11-year-old school boy.
A Child, Youth and Family Services spokesperson confirmed that they were involved with the case, but didn't reveal details or even the charges the 36-year-old woman faces because of the sensitivities around the case, the Sydney Morning Herald reported.
The boy, who hails from Auckland, is believed to have been 11 years of age when he had sex with the woman.
It is also understood that the boy, now 12, was a friend with the woman's son.
The woman forced the boy into repeated sexual encounters over a period of time before becoming pregnant.
The boy is understood to have told the principal of his school, who alerted police and CYFS.
