United States President Barack Obama has congratulated Nepal for the promulgation of the Constitution.

According to The Himalayan Times, Obama congratulated and offered best wishes to Nepal's Deputy Prime Minister Prakash Man Singh at a dinner reception organised by the US President in honour of the world leaders attending the 70th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
