One Sub-Inspector has been killed while a Constable is left battling for his life after an Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) jawan allegedly opened fire at his colleagues following an altercation.
The incident took place in Mussoorie's Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration.
"Today in an unfortunate incident, Constable Chandra Shekhar fought with a Sub-Inspector. The preliminary reports suggest that the jawan fired on the Inspector and constable with an LMG at the main gate.
Both of them were severely injured in the incident," said Vivek Pandey PRO, ITBP.
"They have been referred to Dehradun for better treatment," he added.
DG ITBP has ordered an immediate inquiry in the incident and he has ordered to change the whole company which was deployed in the LBS academy.
