Reacting to the Congress' allegations that the National Herald case is a "political vendetta" Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati on Tuesday said leaders of the grand old party could only reply as to why they are accusing the government and disrupting the Parliament.
"As far as my party's view is concerned, commenting on the case will not be appropriate as of now because the matter is sub-judice," she said while speaking to reporters outside the Parliament here.
On the issue of Minister for External Affairs Sushma Swaraj visiting Islamabad to attend 'Heart of Asia' conference, the BSP chief said that her party had always been in favour of good relations between India and Pakistan. She added her party welcomes the Centre's move in this direction.
The focus of the conference will be on participating nations' commitment to Afghanistan over energy deals, infrastructure and investment.
