'Orange Is The New Black' star Dascha Polanco is set to star with Jennifer Lawrence in 'Joy.'
The Fox 2000 film, which will be helmed by David O. Russell is the rags-to-riches story of Miracle Mop inventor Joy Mangano, and also stars Robert De Niro, Bradley Cooper and Edgar Ramirez, Deadline.com reported.
Russell is also rewriting the remarkable life story of Mangano, a struggling Long Island single mom-of-3 who went on to become country's one of the most successful entrepreneurs with her self-wringing Miracle Mop invention.
Polanco will play the role of Jackie in the project, which was penned by Oscar nomination scribe Annie Mumolo, Joy's brave and loyal best friend who helps her start the mop company.
