A poll run on News Corp Australia websites in the hours following England player Stuart Broad's trip to hospital asked whether or not Broad would be missed for the remainder of the Ashes series if his injury kept him sidelined and 60 pc said showed no mercy by saying he would not.
According to News.com.au, Broad was dismissed lbw and forced to hospital to have his foot inspected by the Mitchell Johnson yorker, potentially ending his series and England's chances of an Ashes revival.
Even in the most vulnerable state, there was no room for sympathy, the report said.
People are wondering what will happen if Broad is ruled out for the rest of the series, as if 6-0 is suddenly a possibility, the report added.
Someone said that it was ironic that first Broad would not walk and now he can't.
