Filipino boxer and politician Manny Pacquiao has found a new way to motivate himself to beat unbeaten US boxing champion Floyd Mayweather in their bout next month, by getting a speed bag with the arch-foe's face emblazoned across it.

Pacquiao now has a speed bag with the face of Mayweather painted on it to use as he prepares for the richest bout in boxing history that would be held on May 2 in Las Vegas.

Pacquiao was recently given the punching bag featuring his opponent's face by lawyer Robert Shapiro, Stuff.co.nz reported.

The fight is set to break pay-TV and ticket records, with an expected take of 330 million dollars.

Mayweather, who has a record of 47-0 with 26 knockouts, had another dig at Pacquiao at his last public appearance in Las Vegas this week. He cracked jokes about the Filipino's height disadvantage, saying that he wears lifts in his shoes, and raised his eyebrows and flashed a smile when someone took note of his reach advantage.

Mayweather said regarding Pacquiao that his career wouldn't have lasted this long if he had been a reckless fighter like that, adding that a guy can land a good shot, but one thing about Mayweather is that he can make adjustments.
