Pakistan's Army Chief General Raheel Sharif on Tuesday ratified the death sentences awarded to eleven terrorists by military courts involved in committing heinous offences.
The Inter-Services Public Relations in a statement said the convicts were involved in killing of DIG Fayyaz Sumbal and ASI Raza Khan of Balochistan Police and Inspector Kamran Nazir of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) at Quetta, reports Dawn.
The statement added that the convicted terrorists also include those who were involved in sectarian killings, kidnapping and killing of civilians and personnel of Frontier Constabulary and killing of Major Majeed of Pakistan Army.
The culprits were found guilty of planning and executing a number of attacks on law enforcement agencies (LEAs) and the armed forces.
Those convicted have been identifies as Zia Ul Haq, Fazal e Rabbi, Muhammad Sher, Umer Zada, Latif Ur Rehman, Muhammad Adil, Israr Ahmed , Abdul Majeed, Hazrat Ali, Mian Said Azam, Qaiser Khan.
All are said to be an active member of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
