The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) on Friday described Prime Minister Narendra Modi's silence on the resurfacing of Pakistani and ISIS flags in the valley as 'worrisome'.
"Every day we are seeing that Pakistani forces and ISIS agents are on the offensive in Kashmir. We have also seen that Indian government is showing a very weak posturing over there, this is something which is very worrisome.....Prime Minister Modi's quietness on this matter is worrisome," BSP leader Sudhindra Bhadoria told ANI.
Pakistani and ISIS flags were reportedly waved today in Srinagar after the Juma-tul-Wida namaz, which is held on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramzan.
The city also witnessed a clash between police and protesters, where the former resorted to tear gas shelling in order to disperse the stone-pelting agitators.
