Pakistan's top civil and military leadership honoured the victims of the Peshawar's Army Public School (APS) massacre in a sombre ceremony at the school as the country marks the first anniversary of the attack.
According to the Dawn, the ceremony began with the arrival of Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
The Army chief received the families of the APS attack victims at the gates of the venue.
Families of those who lost their lives in the event participated in a parade holding up photos of the victims.
The chief ministers of Sindh, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Gilgit Baltistan and premier of Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) are among those attending the ceremony.
