Pakistan's Foreign Office spokesperson Tasnim Aslam has said in response to the Indian Ministry of External Affairs' (MEA) comments that it was India not Pakistan that is under illusion on Kashmir issue.
MEA spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin said on Thursday that "Pakistan's self-destructive and futile quest for territorial aggrandisement in Jammu and Kashmir is well known", reported Dawn News.
Akbaruddin had also said that it was high time for Pakistan to start paying attention to all the problems that trouble them rather than covet what does not belong to them and that which will never be theirs.
Aslam said that it was India that is "obsessed with aggrandisement".
She said that the issue of Jammu and Kashmir was an issue of "right to self-determination of the Kashmiri people" which is preserved in various United Nations' resolutions.
