Pakistan has said that its security concerns should be addressed as the United States is preparing to withdraw from neighboring Afghanistan by the end of this year.

Advisor to the prime minister on Foreign Affairs and National Security Sartaj Aziz reminded the US diplomats that Pakistan will face the brunt of any instability that could engulf Afghanistan post 2014 withdrawal, Dawn News reports.

The White House currently is weighing whether to leave up to 10,000 troops for counter terrorism operations in Afghanistan after December 2014.
