As Pakistan has now shifted its focus of firing to BSF posts and villages in Jammu and Kashmir, Major Gen (retd.) S R Sinho said here on Wednesday that Pakistan is doing all this to grab the attention of the whole world.
Sinho said, "Pakistan's image has got down. They are doing this to grab the attention of the whole world."
"Pakistan is continuously violating ceasefire. They are not doing it at LoC because army is deployed there. Whatever Pakistan is doing is all at the international border," he added.
"They have started to attack small villages as well in which civilian are getting injured. Moreover Pakistan didn't like the speech of our PM Modi given in UN to Pakistan Prime Minister," said Sinho.
As the other side is trying to destroy the international border, Sinho also said that Pakistan is doing all this to pull the attention of people so that their army comes in limelight.
At least five people have been injured today while one lost life after Pakistan resorted to heavy firing in R S Pura sector last night.
Nearly 50 Posts on the International border were also targeted yesterday.
