Paris's 'sex toy-like sculpture' taken down post being vandalized

A controversial art installation on Paris' tony Place Vendome that looked like a sex toy was recently taken down after it was vandalized.

The inflatable sculpture called "Tree" vaguely resembled a Christmas tree also a giant anal plug sex toy and the guide wires holding the sculpture in place were severed by vandals sometime overnight, Fox News reported.

Culture Minister Fleur Pellerin blasted the vandalism and said that it was "a serious attack on the principal of artistic freedom.
