An envoy of Dalit ministers and MPs headed by Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan on Wednesday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi over their concerns on the Supreme Court's judgement diluting provisions of the Scheduled Castes (SCs) and Scheduled Tribes (STs) atrocities act.
Following the meeting, Paswan said the discussion with Prime Minister Modi was 'positive'.
"Prime Minister Modi will not say if review petition (on SC ruling over SC/ST Act) will be filed or not, it'll be done by the government and when the government is saying we are examining it, that means the government is positive about it," Paswan told reporters here.
Union Ministers Ramdas Athawale, Jual Oram, Arjun Ram Meghwa and several MPs were also part of the meet.
