Paul McCartney is all set to join the next movie of the hit franchise 'Pirates of the Caribbean'.

The 73-year-old former Beatle will be starring alongside Johnny Depp in the fifth installment titled 'Dead Men Tell No Tales', reports News.com.au.

However, his role in the flick is kept as closely-guarded secret. But insiders claim a huge set is being built around the singer, indicating the part is more than a cameo.

It is being said that Depp, who is a close friend of McCartney, led to his involvement.
