PCB names committees to sell media rights of two international series

The Pakistan Cricket Board has named bid committees for selling media rights for two upcoming international series and the newly introduced Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Pakistan will play series against New Zealand and Australia at neutral venues of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) this year.

The PCB is also planning to hold its first Super League in the UAE in December 2014 to January 2015, The Dawn reported.

The international series bid committee will be headed by former ICC president Ehsan Mani while renowned TV commentator Chishty Mujahid, who is also PCB's chief executive, is appointed as head of the PSL bid committee.

The bid committee for international media rights consists of the following members:

Ehsan Mani (Chairman), Dr Salman Shah, Subhan Ahmad (chief operating officer), Badar M. Khan (chief financial officer), Badar Refaie (marketing director), Ahmad Hosain (legal consultant), Salman Naseer (secretary), M/s Ernst and Young (independent external auditors).

The bid committee for PSL rights comprises of the following members:

Chishty Mujahid (Chairman), Dr Salman Shah, Zaheer Abbas, Subhan Ahmad, Badar M. Khan, Badar Refaie, Zaki Rehman (legal consultant), Salman Naseer, M/s. Ernst and Young (independent external auditors).
