PETA activists have named a pair of rescued chinchillas after Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt as a wedding.
The chinchillas are named Brad and Angelina after the pair, who secretly got married in France, and are up for adoption at PETA's Virginia headquarters, Contactmusic reported.
PETA senior vice president Lisa Lange said that the couple has been a part of several kind acts, which include animal rescues and giving up fur use, which prompted them to name the rescued chinchillas after them as a wedding present.
PETA recently closed down one of the largest chinchilla ranches in California, Valley View Chinchilla Ranch, and more than 400 chinchillas, which were deemed not suitable as pets were electrocuted and skinned so their pelts could be made into bedspreads, coats and scarves, have been rescued.
