British rocker Pete Doherty, apparently inspired by Macaulay Culkin, is planning a second stint at a rehab clinic in Thailand after failing to quit drugs during his first stay there last year.
The former Libertines frontman revealed that he has managed to cut back on smoking crack cocaine, but he is still suffering from addiction problems and wants to return to the Thai clinic end of this year.
Doherty cut short his stint at The Cabin in Chiang Mai after failing to wean himself off heroin substitute methadone, last July.
He told Nme magazine that health-wise, going to Thailand was the best thing that happened to him, and he believes that he was almost at the verge of quitting, ContactMusic reported.
Doherty also revealed that he has been suffering nasty side effects from cutting down his drug intake, including a cough and a number of painful abscesses on his foot.
