The price of petrol has been hiked across the country by 64 paise per litre, while the price of diesel has been lowered by Rs 1.35 per litre.
A statement by the Indian Oil Corporation stated that the cost of petrol was increased in lieu of the increase in crude prices in the international market, while the cost of diesel has been decreased due to the downward revision in the price of the fuel.
With this latest revision, the price of petrol will be Rs 66.93 a litre in Delhi, while diesel will cost Rs 50.93 per litre.
