Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday wished former Bhutanese King Jigme Singye Wangchuck on his 60th birthday.
"Greetings & best wishes to His Majesty Jigme Singye Wangchuck on his 60th birthday. May he be blessed with a long, healthy & happy life," tweeted Prime Minister Modi.
Jigme Khesar Namgyal Wangchuck visited India as the Chief Guest for the 64th Republic Day celebrations in 2013. The King and the Queen later paid an official visit to India from January 6-10, 2014, at the invitation of President Pranab Mukherjee.
