Union Minister of Railways and Coal Piyush Goyal on Tuesday said that the real 'Bing Bang' happened under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, who brought about revolutionary changes.
"The real Big Bang happened under Narendra Modi and Arun Jaitley's governance. It lies in fighting corruption, the war against black money, implementation of the Goods and Services Tax (GST), and consolidation of banks," Goyal exclusively told ANI in Davos.
"All Budgets presented by the Modi government before have been big and have brought about revolutionary changes in the last four years. This has never been seen before in history," he added.
On a related note, the budget will be presented on February 1.
The first Budget Session of Parliament will be held from January 29 to February 9, while the second session will be held from March 5 to April 6.
This will be the last full-fledged budget that will be presented by Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Union Government, and the first post the introduction of GST.
