Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday visited Belur Math on the second day of his visit to West Bengal.

The Belur Math is the headquarters of the Ramakrishna Math and Mission, which was founded by Swami Vivekananda.

This comes a day after the Prime Minister visited Swami Atmasthananda, the Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission president, at a hospital run by the order.

Earlier in the day, the Prime Minister had visited the Dakshineswar kali temple near Kolkata.
