Posh's no designer, says fashion guru

Victoria Beckham has been slammed by a fashion rival who told her that she is not a designer.

Celebrity frock maker Roland Mouret, 51, was so unimpressed with English football star David Beckham's wife's work that he even blasted shops that have his pricey collections next to hers.

The French fashion designer even shredded her Spice Girls image, confessing that he "hated" everything about her style even then.

He told the Daily Star that he did not think that Victoria could be treated as a fashion designer, asserting that she does not draw the clothes.

Mouret explained that he knew that it was not Victoria's fault.

Victoria, who was accused of copying his designs when her first catwalk collection was a success in 2008, is a fan of the designer and helped make his classic Moon dress a worldwide bestseller.

Roland and Victoria have been pals for years and she still goes to him for advice as everybody needs mentors.

He added that in his opinion Victoria is an incredible business-woman like Helena Rubinstein or Estee Lauder.
