American football star Tim Tebow has expressed his disappointment over his fellow player Aaron Hernandez's murder charge and has called it 'heartbreaking and sad'.
Tebow, who joined the New England Patriots about two weeks before Hernandez was charged with murdering a semi-professional player Odin Lloyd, had played for three years at Florida with Hernandez, the New York Daily News reports.
Calling the charge heartbreaking and sad', however Tebow said that he and his teammates have been advised not to comment on the ongoing legal investigation, although he added that his thoughts and his prayers went out to the involved families.
Hernandez was cut by the Patriots after he was arrested on June 26, the report added.
