Extending his greetings and felicitations to the government and the people of Mauritania on the eve of their national day, President Pranab Mukherjee on Friday said that India looked forward to further strengthen the ongoing partnership between both nations.
President Mukherjee said the bilateral relations between India and Mauritania are marked by warmth and goodwill.
"We look forward to working closely with your Government to further strengthen our ongoing partnership in areas of capacity building, infrastructure development and skill upgradation," he said in his message to Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz, President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.
"Please accept, Excellency, my good wishes for your personal health and well-being, as well as for the progress and prosperity of the friendly people of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania," he added.
