President Mukherjee wishes UAE President speedy recovery

President Pranab Mukherjee has sent a get well message to the President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who recently suffered a stroke and underwent surgery.

In his message, President Mukherjee has said: "I was deeply concerned to learn of Your Highness' recent indisposition. I do hope that you are feeling better by now and progressing rapidly on the path of recovery."

"Your personal contribution to India-UAE relations is very much valued as it has enhanced our mutual understanding and brought our two peoples closer to each other. We have, together, implemented many mutually beneficial initiatives and are poised to take our relationship to a new level of trust and collaboration,' he added.

Mukherjee wished good health and a long life to the UAE President.

"I wish Your Highness good health and a long life and take this opportunity to convey to the people of the United Arab Emirates best wishes for their continued progress and prosperity," he added.
