Prince George has been christened at an intimate family ceremony inside the Chapel Royal at St James's Palace, it has been revealed.
Parents William and Kate had invited only the most senior members of the Royal Family which included the Queen, Prince Philip, Prince Harry and Prince Charles, and Kate's closest relatives, the Mirror reported.
The Duke and Duchess had picked the Chapel Royal, as the venue holds special meaning for William, where Princess Diana lay the night before her funeral in 1997.
According to a royal source, it was a personal decision for William and Kate, as it was important for him to remember his mother on this special day.
Two hymns, two lessons and two anthems were chosen for the service.
