Bad news for all Priyanka Chopra fans! Her Hollywood flick 'Cowboy Ninja Viking', along side Chris Patt, will not be releasing next summer.
Universal Pictures delayed the film, saying that it remains in active development and will be dated down the line "to accommodate production scheduling." The movie was slated to slated to open on June 28, 2019, confirmed The Hollywood Reporter.
Directed by Michelle MacLaren, the film will see the 'Quantico' star as Pratt's love interest.
Based on a graphic novel by A.J. Lieberman and illustrator Riley Rossmo, the movie will revolve around a counter-intelligence unit which is formed by a psychotherapist, Dr Sebastian Ghislain. The flick will see Ghislain transform agents known as Triplets, a reference to multiple personalities.
Pratt will essay the role of a formidable agent, who possesses the fighting skills and personalities of a cowboy.
The 'Mary Kom' actor recently walked out of Salman Khan starrer 'Bharat'. The news of her engagement with singer Nick Jonas has also been doing rounds of late.
