The South African T20 squad will look to turn around the dismal ODI run in Sri Lanka when the first of the three T20 Internationals takes place in Colombo on Friday evening.

According to Sport24, captain, Faf du Plessis, says the squad is dejected after the ODI series loss, but will need to look ahead and focus all of their energies into the T20 campaign.

Du Plessis said that the side has some new faces, which is great, speaking of Imran Tahir, David Wiese, Wayne Parnell and Henry Davids.

He said that the team was outplayed by Sri Lanka in the ODIs and were now going to dig deep for a better performance.
