Protesting Imphal shopkeepers decry Oct.1 bomb blast
Decrying the bomb explosion at a Durga Puja pandal recently, shopkeepers here and from surrounding areas staged a sit-in protest at the blast site at Thangal Bazaar on Mahatma Gandhi Avenue yesterday.
The protest was organised under the aegis of the Hindustani Samaj, where several non-locals and locals joined to condemn the act.
The blast occurred on October 1 at 6 p.m., and left at least twenty six people injured and one police personal dead.
