Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has been booked under charges of terrorism for provoking people to attack the residence of Punjab's former law minister Rana Sanaullah.

Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rashid and PTI leaders Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Arif Alvi and Asad Umer have also been charged under terrorism, reported Dawn News.

Around 500 PTI activists have also been named in the case on a complaint by Sanaullah.

Rana Sanaullah accused the PTI of giving a call for a strike in Faisalabad to create instability and tampering the country's progress.
